Andrew S. Ferguson, M.D

Andrew S. Ferguson, M.D. was born in Baltimore, Maryland and was raised in the Annapolis area. He attended Swarthmore College, and graduated with a BA in Biology in 1988. After several years in Biomedical research, he received his medical degree in 1995 from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Ferguson completed a residency in Family Medicine at Franklin Square Hospital Center, where he served as Chief Resident in 1998. He maintains his board certification through the American Board of Family Physicians. He is also an active member of the American Society of Family Physicians, the Medical Chirurgical Society of Maryland, and the Kent County Medical Society. He also completed a Masters in Business Administration at the Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business. He lives in Chestertown with his wife, Karen, and his two sons, Cole and Reed.
